Be-Fong Shih holds a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Music. She attended Normal University in Taiwan, Chicago Musical College and Mississippi State University, where she taught piano as a Teaching Assistant in the Music Department. She has studied with Fu-Mei Lee, Dr. Dorfman, Dr. Gerry Collins and had post-graduate study with Dr. J. Benowitz at the University of North Texas.
She is a MTNA Certified Music Teacher and also is a member of Plano Music Teachers Association. An adjudicator and a member of Piano Guild of American College of Musicians for 30 years, Be-Fong has had a permanent place in the Piano Guild's "Hall of Fame" since 2002.
Many of her students have received High School Diplomas from the National Piano Guild.
Currently, she teaches 40 students in Plano, Texas at Nadine;s Music Manor School of Music and at her home studio. She and her husband, composer and classical guitarist, Brian Clement- Foreman, reside in Plano, Texas.
